Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. Global shipping is available. Shipping costs are not included in the print price and will be calculated at checkout. Prints are shipped unframed for efficiency and quality assurance, with framed prints available upon request. Shipping is free to Switzerland. For the rest of the world, shipping costs are not included in print price and will be calculated after checkout, based on the exact shipping address. Upon purchase, we will reach out directly to confirm the shipping price, discuss shipment options, and invoice the customer directly for shipping. The payment of any import customs charges, duties and taxes, whether local or international, are the responsibility of the customer. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at all.

Why do you ship your prints unframed?

Framed prints are available upon request. The shipping of framed prints can be both difficult and expensive. Framing is also very location specific and subjective. Framing is an artform, and it’s important to match the colour of your frame to the image, your space, and your tastes. Our recommendation is often an understated frame that sets the image off from its surroundings with a generous white mat.

How do I uncurl the print once it arrives?

When you remove the print from the postal tube, the print will be curled. To uncurl the print, do the following by using the postal tube and the tissue paper that comes with the print. Nothing else is needed.
– Wash and dry hands to handle the print and do not touch the print surface
– Lay the curled print that was removed from postal tube on a flat surface
– Cover the printed surface with tissue paper
– Use the postal tube that the print was shipped in
– Firmly and with care roll the covered print around the tube
– Hold the rolled print for approximately 30 seconds in the rolled position
– Unroll the print and remove the tissue paper and the print will be flattened

What is your refund policy for the Limited Edition Collection?

As all limited edition prints are made-to-order, hand-signed, and numbered, and I am unable to offer returns or exchanges unless in the event of a genuine manufacturing fault. All of my products undergo high-grade professional quality control to ensure that all prints are of the highest standard. If you feel that a manufacturing error has been made, please contact us for assistance.

What if my print arrives damaged?

Any order which has been damaged prior to delivery, where you have informed me within 24 hours of the delivery attempt, will be replaced free of charge with a duplicate copy of the same print as ordered. For my limited edition prints, both the damaged print and certificate of authenticity must be returned for destruction. Because the value of limited edition prints also lies in the exact number on each print, I need to physically account for any returned print. This is to ensure my customers’ purchase and prevent an edition of 9 becoming an edition of 10. In the event of damage, I will cover the cost of return postage. If your print has arrived damaged, please contact me for assistance.

How should I care for my print?

To care for your prints, we recommend you display them behind non-reflective museum glass and protect them from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Do you allow custom orders?

Of course! If you are looking to commission an image, or perhaps looking for a specific size or an image that is not featured in our online gallery, please contact us for a custom quote.

What paper is used for the Limited Edition prints?

My Limited Edition collection is printed using the highest standards in the giclée print industry. I use the Hahnemühle FineArt Papers: Photo Rag and William Turner with 310 g/m². Both have a wonderful texture and excellent colour rendition. My prints are created using archival materials and methods to ensure long-lasting and fade-resistant prints. All limited edition prints come with a 3 cm white border.

Are the Limited Editions signed?

Yes. Each limited edition print is hand-signed by Jana Arnhold (on the bottom right of the border) and hand-numbered. Each limited edition print also includes an embossed seal and a certificate of authenticity. This certificate is also hand-signed & numbered by Jana Arnhold.
