Each photograph is numbered and signed. Of course, framing is an art in itself and should be chosen carefully, tailored to the style and colours in your home and matching your personal taste. Went I first went live with this website in 2020, the COVID-19 Pandemic had brought global travel to a standstill. This threw light onto how lucky I had been to travel and explore so many wonderful places over the past 20 years. In particular, my time in Africa has gifted me with precious memories, and working on this website has brought so many of them back. It has made me cry and smile in equal doses, sometimes simultaneously! I am so indebted to Mama Africa, I need to honour what I owe in protecting and nurturing her precious wild-open spaces, her traditional communities and her wildlife. 20% of profits from the prints will be directed to Conservancy Guardians to protect wildlife habitat in Kenya and Tanzania. Conservancy Guardians was founded in May 2020, a time of great difficulty across the globe. A total collapse in tourism revenues and the resulting impact on wildlife areas and their surrounding communities, shed clear light on the need for a broadening, holistic approach in community support and engagement when it comes to answering the long-term conservation questions in East Africa. As founding guardians, we come from an array of pastures and cultures, though we share a great passion for Africa’s wilderness, wildlife, and people. Together we apply decades of experience in strengthening the foundations of community conservation in East Africa. It is where we work, where we live, where we love. We are dedicated to seeing it thrive.
