This photo shows a Temminck´s Pangolin with it´s beautiful artichoke scales, taken in great excitment as they are very rarely seen. Sadly Pangolins have found a recent fame for being the most trafficked mammal on our planet and, more recently still, have been mentioned as one of the animals, that may have played a role in the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 Virus out of the wet markets in Wuhan.
